While looking for shells today during low tide, Juju, Riri and I waded out way off the shore line. We reached a sand bar (of sorts) and came across something that we thought was a big shell. When we pulled it out of the water, we discovered it was something else…a sand dollar. They had never seen one live. We were able to see it move around and look at it’s lunules. After studying it for a while and showing curious onlookers. We set it free. See pix and video below.
