My good friend, Richard, sent these pix to me yesterday and today. They are from 1987ish when I lived in Bensenville, IL. I lived in the Bensenville Apartments that were 1 mile from Chicago O’Hare Airport and had a major train track outside my window.
There was always the sound of a plane or a train…sometimes both.
Richard thinks the photo of him laying on the floor was taken after we recorded something on tape. We loved writing and making comedy bits. He is a comedic genius.
That has to be 1987. I only had one shirt back then, and I’m wearing it.

You are wearing that shirt now? Wow, that’s impressive! Have you ever washed it or are you cherishing and preserving that special moment in time?

It eventually just becomes kinda. .. who .. you, you know… who you are. A shirt man. A man shirt. You could take a thousand showers and never get that shirt out of your … you know. .. your soul.
