I went to visit Elias at his work today. While there, I met one of his coworkers, Wesley, who has just finished working on his jacked up BMW. Here are some of the specs:
700 hp engine – $7,000

Wesley says he has a goal to have the fastest street-legal car in Utah. He wants to get it to 170 mph. He took me on a “joy” ride today getting up close to 140 mph. He was weaving in and out of highway traffic, and I have to admit, it freaked me out. I usually do not let others drive me, and I certainly don’t want to be going high speeds while someone else is driving!
I am going to come back in the spring and shoot some legit video of him driving the car on a track. Stay tuned! In the meantime, enjoy the cell phone video from today’s ride.
