On my last day in UT this past weekend, Juju and Riri asked me to take them to Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon. I had never been there, but was wanting to do some type of outside activity. I had no idea what it was. Both Harrisen and Yana said they didn’t want to go, giving me the impression that it wasn’t that good.
However, after making the short trek to the falls, I found it to be quite beautiful. The main drop on the falls is over 160 feet. There is also a drop higher up that you can see in the photo above.
I was not prepared to make the hike to the base of the falls. Did not have the right shoes and my knee has been in weird place for about 2 weeks. The girls did not have the appropriate shoes either, but they did a little climbing.
I am looking forward to going back again in a bit warmer weather and with the appropriate gear.
