I flew from CA to GA on a red-eye flight Thu night/Fri morning to come back for Stensen’s Scholarship weekend at GA Southern. When I landed at 6am, I grabbed a rental car and drove home. I was able to rest for a couple hours and then we headed out for Statesboro.
When we arrived we took a nice walking tour of the campus and then headed back to the hotel to get ready for the Scholar Banquet.
There were about 250 other scholars at the event. GSU was good to have us seated with one of the interviewers for Stensen. We also were seated with 2 other students who were eligible for the same scholarship as he. The banquet was fine.
Then this morning (Sat), we had a nice hosted breakfast and then Stensen had his first interview at 8am and his next one at 9am. He thinks they went well, but of course, you never know.
Since we were done by about 10am, we decided to take a road trip to nearby Savannah. Neither of us have been there. Pix and video from that trip will appear in another post.
