It REALLY Is Grand

While at my Aunt Lynn’s, we took a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Even though my fear of heights was in full effect, it was an amazing place to be. We visited many different vistas including the Indian Watchtower, Grand View, Moran Point, and the Museum.

I love this shot that my Aunt Lynn took of my and the girls.

We started out visit by going to the Indian Watchtower at Desert View first. It is a stone tower that provides an elevated view of the canyon.

When looking at this next shot. Remember my totally irrational fear of heights and know that I had to climb down and walk out onto this ledge and have someone take this picture before I chickened out.

This was a freaky moment for me. Although I did not go all the way out to the tip of this formation, it was still a big challenge to walk out at all.

Riri was much braver at this same location, and at all locations, as evidenced in this video and in some of the photos below. In fact, at several locations, I had to ask her not to go to some of the places she wanted to go to because she was freaking me out.
