Spring Break in Chino Valley

After visiting my Aunt Lynn and Uncle Jim (shown in photo above going out on their morning walk with their dogs) in January, we made plans to come back when the girls were on Spring Break to spend the week with them on their ranch in Chino Valley, AZ. We made good on this plans this week and had a TOTAL BLAST.

The entrance to their ranch is adorned with Elk skulls. The entrance to their ranch is adorned with Elk skulls.

We gardened, rode horses, visited the Grand Canyon, went fishing, mountain biking, ate lots of Elk, saw Native American petroglyphs, enjoyed the weather and amazing starts at night, slept in their camper, ate lots of other things including Aunt Lynn’s homemade salsa and jams, and made Mariana’s school project.

I took advantage of the clear skies on night 2 and made this image.
