I saw a snail on the sidewalk and grabbed my Nikkor AF-S Micro 85mm f3.5G ED lens and made these images and video. The snail was moving around eating leaves and dead flowers.
You gotta check out the video and watch for 0:54 for when the snail pops his eye spots and tentacles out. So cool!
He decided he had enough to eat and left the paparazzi behind.
