Ever since I have lived in Orem and have visited Provo Canyon, I have seen this bridge that I have wanted to photograph. I made a lame attempt for one photo several Falls ago. But it was a lazy effort and I did not really try.

Today was the day.
That is what I thought as I was driving into Provo Canyon as part of my daily commune with the outdoors and nature. I saw the bridge on the other side of the road and flipped a quick U-turn as there was almost no traffic on the road.
I parked by the bridge, got out of the car in the chilly temps, and worked the scene for about 30 minutes. I was able to take pictures of the Provo River and the mountains from the bridge. I was also able to easily walk down the river banks to shoot the bridge spanning the river.
These first pics are ones taken from the bridge.

Below are a few more pix of the bridge. I was thinking as I was taking this pictures about the need to return to these spots in the Fall. I can’t wait to see what it looks like!
4-5-20 Update – I was on a bike ride today on the Provo Canyon trail and came up to the other side of the bridge and from below. The photo below shares this perspective.
