Rockin’ the Canyon

Today was, by far, the best day of Spring here in the Orem/Provo Utah area. We had beautiful blue skies with white, puffy clouds and temps in the mid 60’s.

A climber sets up the line for others to climb and repel

After a long and stressful day at work, where I was on video calls almost the entire day, I was ready for the great outdoors. Both Mother Nature and Rock Canyon did not let me down.

The canyon is about 10 minutes from my house. When I pulled in to the trail head parking, almost every spot was taken. Many others had the same idea as did I on this day.

The green is starting to invade the canyon

From the moment I walked through the trail head, I was inundated with beautiful scenery to shoot. I instantly started taking pictures.

I basically didn’t stop taking pictures until I was out of the canyon. I would have loved to stay there through sunset and find a great pov for the end of day. No worries, though, I have all spring, summer and fall to get that shot.

Two climbers. Can you see the 2nd one?
