This morning’s trip was into American Fork Canyon. I have posted other content from the trip in ANOTHER POST. There was just too much to post and I did not want this floating next building bird stuff to get lost in the shuffle.
One of the first places I stopped this morning in the canyon was at this beautiful spot on the river. I have been here before and it is one of my favorites.

While photographing the falls, I noticed a momma and daddy bird building a nest on the big rock at the falls. You can see the big rock on the right in the photo above and close up version below.

What was really cool was that they would leave the nest, go upstream to get some nest material, and then float downstream until they got close to their nest and then they would fly from the water to the nest.
They were having fun while they worked!
I tried my best to capture some of this. I created a video with my cell phone. It is not the greatest, but I did capture what was going on. Check it out below.
