The Week in Hikes

What an incredible Spring week for hikes here in Utah. We had great temps in the mornings and evenings that made the hiking super pleasant.

A terrific and first time (from this location) view of Mt. Timpanogos from Trail 51

I was able to get out every day this week. Here are the hikes I was able to do: Squaw Peak Back Trail, Bonneville Shoreline Trail, Johnson’s Hole, Provo Canyon lower trail, Provo Canyon Upper Falls, and my favorite of the week, Trail 51 from Dry Canyon to Battle Creek Canyon.

To add icing to the cake, I was able to do evening meditations on a few of the hikes. That is always a bonus.

I am sharing a few of my fave phots from the week.

Squaw Peak Back Trail

A wonderful daddy-daughter hike at elevation as spring flowers are popping up

BONNEVILLE SHORELINE

The burnt trees with no growth

PROVO CANYON LOWER TRAIL

A beuatiful location for a home with LOTS of land

UPPER FALLS

The lower shelf of the Upper Falls. There is another shelf above this one.
One of the prettiest sights of the week

Happy to be at the falls

Trail 51 (Dry canyon to battle creek canyon)

Yours truly at the beginning of the descent into Battle Creek Canyon
The climb up to Trail 51 was VERY steep. Look at the angle at which Ann is standing.
A beautful view on the climb looking out toward Utah Lake
This section of the trail was simply magical!
