I tried a new trail on Monday morning and I love it.
Two of my daughters, Yana and Riri, decided to join for dinner on the mountain and then they went home and left me all alone on the mountain. Of course, I was totally groovy with that. Although, it would have been great if they stayed.
While hiking this morning on the west side of Big Baldy, I looked out into the valley and saw a splash of light from the rising sun. It dawned on me, pun intended, that the light was funneling through the canyon almost like what a flashlight would do.
My hiking this season so far is on fire. For instance this morning, I encountered so many interesting things.
In March of 2017, I attempted to climb Big Baldy in Lindon, UT while there was still plenty of snow left on the mountains. Photos from that trip are shown in the mosaic below.
