In the span of 2 hours, my amazing daughter, Juju who is a senior, competed in a wrestling meet on the Mountain View High School JV wrestling team and then, after her match, she hustled into the cheer room, got cleaned up a bit, put on her cheer uniform and joined her fellow cheerleaders on the floor to cheer on their Varsity classmates in their wrestling meet.
In the past few weeks I have been feeling something. Or maybe thinking something. Ok, actually, both. I haven't really been able to figure it out.
I think it one of the resonant points is that we are always going to face challenges, and when we are, we have a choice. We can either be victimized by the challenge or we can learn something from the challenge.
I am an outdoorsy type of person. I live in Utah and am surrounded by so many options for outdoor fun. Hiking is one of my favorite things to do.
