Two of my daughters, Yana and Riri, decided to join for dinner on the mountain and then they went home and left me all alone on the mountain. Of course, I was totally groovy with that. Although, it would have been great if they stayed.

Lighting the Valley
While hiking this morning on the west side of Big Baldy, I looked out into the valley and saw a splash of light from the rising sun. It dawned on me, pun intended, that the light was funneling through the canyon almost like what a flashlight would do.
