When we made it to the clearing at the bottom of the rock scree near the falls. One of the rescuers called out to see if anyone would respond. We heard a sound and saw something behind the brush right up agains the base of the cliff.
While the loop is only 38 miles, it took me over 3 hours to complete the journey. Somehow I was distracted by all the photos I had to take.
Little did I know that I was hitting the sweet spot on that day. As soon as I got into Provo Canyon, I could tell there was a plenty of color. As I drove east into Heber, the color was intensifying. I was beginning to feel that I was in for a special treat.
