I woke up this morning more excited than normal. I was excited because I knew I was going to explore a new trail that I found last week.
I was convinced I was not going another step and I was willing to accept falling a bit short of making it to the summit that was about 200 yards away.
Our goal today was to get to the top of Buffalo Peak. In May, we made up to the base of the last steep push to the peek. However, Ann and I were so distracted by the flowers, as shown in the post from May, that we ran out of time and said we would have to come back and do it again.
Had a great day today doing "normal" dad things. Took all the girls to school, watched a school assembly where the twins sang in the choir, took lunch to Mariana and gave Yana and her friend a ride home from school.
