Today was the day of trail exploration. I headed out from the Bonneville Shoreline trail head with the intention of going deeper into the canyon on that trail than I ever had before. On May 1 of each year, Squaw Peak Road is opened back up for car travel. There are several trails that I have wanted to hike starting at the overlook.

After work today I noticed it was still beautiful outside. Even thought it was chilly, I decided to go to Dry Canyon for a short hike and some outside time.
