Mind Over Mountain
Yesterday I finally did something I had been planning to do for over 4 years. I climbed Mt. Timpanogos. We encountered what I will now forever call, Satan's Cliff of Eternal Hell and Damnation.

Sometimes being in the wrong place works out fine. My hike today was an example of that.
A Great Western Trail And More!
Today was the day of trail exploration. I headed out from the Bonneville Shoreline trail head with the intention of going deeper into the canyon on that trail than I ever had before. While I did accomplish the goal of going deeper into the canyon than every before, I did not do it on the Shoreline trail, I actually hopped off the trail and explored a vast network of smaller tributary trails.
Squaw Peak Overlook Back Trail
On May 1 of each year, Squaw Peak Road is opened back up for car travel. There are several trails that I have wanted to hike starting at the overlook.
