A Snowy Day in the Canyon

I decided to go out into the elements and have some fun. I made a few nice pix of people taking a Polar Bear dip in the Provo River, found some cross country skiers, some snow shoers and some beautiful scenery.

Photo Moose-A-Palooza

As soon as I arrived at the trailhead to Lake Mary, I noticed a dark creature in the woods. I had to take a long look because I couldn't believe how close I was to a bull moose. A few other people noticed as well and we all began a photo-moose-a-palooza.

Silver and Twins

I discovered something when I arrived at the Silver Lake trailhead. It turns out that there are TWO Silver Lakes in the area. There is one that you get to from American Fork Canyon, which is the one to which I thought I was going to this morning, but from a different access point. Then there is the other one, which I drove to this morning.

A Sunday Morning Escape

I woke up early this morning and had the brilliant idea to go take a drive into Provo Canyon and up the Alpine Loop past Sundance Resort. I wanted to do something to escape the unfortunate Coronavirus circumstances in which we find ourselves.
