While hiking this Sunday morning, I was quite productive. I was able to listen to 8 chapters of scriptures, listen to the framework of the Sunday School lesson we will do at home today, enjoy a wide range of spiritual music, and of course, enjoy the beauty of creation.
The pods started popping about 2 says ago. I have been so busy with work, that I really haven't even had time to look at them until this morning.
On May 1 of each year, Squaw Peak Road is opened back up for car travel. There are several trails that I have wanted to hike starting at the overlook.
It was such a pleasant and peaceful Tuesday morning down at Utah Lake. I got up and drove straight down to the water's edge.
On a nice Sunday afternoon I decided to go back into Rock Canyon. I couldn't get anyone to go with me because the forecast was calling for rain and maybe thunderstorms.
It was a power packed morning of photographic awesomeness. I was able to photograph nature, waterfalls, birds, landscapes, and a wedding in progress.
After a long and stressful day at work, where I was on video calls almost the entire day, I was ready for the great outdoors. Both Mother Nature and Rock Canyon did not let me down.
Both Ann and I were dying to get out of the house today. It was a beautiful day and also a bit chilly. So we bundled up and headed to nearby Battle Creek Canyon for about an hour of hiking.
After work today I noticed it was still beautiful outside. Even thought it was chilly, I decided to go to Dry Canyon for a short hike and some outside time.
Hot springs bathers enjoy the naturally heated pools as the cold spring snow melt rages by. We made a second visit to the Fifth Water Hot Springs on a beautiful spring day.
