As soon as I arrived at the trailhead to Lake Mary, I noticed a dark creature in the woods. I had to take a long look because I couldn't believe how close I was to a bull moose. A few other people noticed as well and we all began a photo-moose-a-palooza.

I discovered something when I arrived at the Silver Lake trailhead. It turns out that there are TWO Silver Lakes in the area. There is one that you get to from American Fork Canyon, which is the one to which I thought I was going to this morning, but from a different access point. Then there is the other one, which I drove to this morning.
As odd it may seem, it turns out that he was not the only naked person in the water. If you look two photos above, you will see a woman in the water up past her shoulders. I discovered after taking that picture and hike up to the main part of the springs, that she too was bathing naked. I noticed someone helping her cover up as she got out of the water.
Sometimes we have "secret expectations." They are secret because we do not tell anyone about them. For instance, you expect your friend to help you when you move. Yet, you never said anything to them about it. You end up getting frustrated. This leads to disappointment.

One of the pilots was concerned about the direction and strength of the wind because, in his own words, his gear was not as rugged as the other pilot's. In fact, in the photo below, you can see him looking out over the valley and feeling and seeing the winds.
What are the odds of this happening in Orem, UT? When I came out from the gym today I noticed that parked next to me was a most undesirable thing - a car with a University of Texas license plate on it.
