THOUGHTS FROM THE TRAIL

I spend a lot of time on the trail hiking, enjoying nature, quiet and taking pictures. Because I usually hike alone, I have a lot of time to think.

RESISTANCE – Yes or No

Whether to say yes or no is probably the most frequent choice that we make every day. We make that choice over and over.

Love Is Action

If you think about it for yourself, I would wager that these 4 inward LOVE ACTIONS are also important for you to receive.

House of Love

In the same way that you don’t fill your heart with hate because someone hateful enters into your environment. You want to live in a house of love.

Your Precious Value

When you are with people who see you unique and priceless value, and you do the same to them, it creates a peace, a harmony, a freedom and a joy that can only come with that understanding.

Our First Love

Love and confidence start from within. Some think they gain confidence and feel love once they are in a relationship or get the right job or create or do something they feel is significant. Unfortunately, research does not show this to be true.

Anger is an emotion that we need to transform into something life-giving: courage, love, change, compassion, and justice.

Improvement vs. Breakthrough

While I may have disliked much of the practice, the suffering through placing myself at the mercy of the pro, it is in fact, what made my game great. In order to be the best we can be in our own lives, we have to be a 4-Star general against average.

Falling from Judgment

It is so easy to fall into judgment. This story may provide perspective that helps your practice of compassion, kindness and love.

The Importance of PLAY

Play is when we break from normal efforts and engage in activity that has no explicit purpose toward our obsession with accomplishment. Exhaustion is not a badge of honor. It is a sign that we do not have balance in our lives.

Practice

Practice does not make perfect. It makes BETTER.
