An amazing day today. All the children and I collaborated on one of the best Thanksgiving dinners ever. The brined turkey was off the chain. Never had turkey so flavorful and juicy. The girls worked on the potatoes while Stensen put it all together after cooking them. Harrisen did his usual great job on the asparagus. Dad cooked fresh sauteed mushrooms in red wine and garlic and also used a little red wine in the turkey gravy. It was my first time ever cooking gravy and it was fabulous. I received the recipe from a co-worker.
We are waiting a bit to get into the dessert.
