As promised in my previous post, I went on mountain bike ride today. I rode into the hills of San Jose off of Snell Road. I found a small trail that hugs the ridge of the hills and winds through amazing displays of flora and fauna, and if that is not enough, has amazing views of the valley.
The trail had a section that was lined with poppies, which happen to be the state flower of California.
On my way back, I noticed a beautiful and intrigue patch of cacti. It was a huge spread and I enjoyed working it with the micro lens.
I like the different takes on these close ups. I like the shadows on the one below.
Since the ride is up on the ridge of a hill, there were a lot of views of the valley. I am sharing a few below.
